Dry eye is a high incidence of eye disease in modern people caused by abnormal tear quality or quantity or dynamic abnormality due to various reasons, resulting in a decrease in the stability of the tear film. Due to the lack of awareness and attention to dry eye, many patients develop severe dry eye due to delayed treatment, the cornea is damaged, the transparency is gradually reduced, and eventually, blindness may be caused. According to Professor Li Shaowei, a doctoral tutor at Aier College of Ophthalmology of Central South University and director of Aier Eye Corneal Disease Research Institute, a normal person blinks 15 to 20 times per minute. , the number of blinks per minute is only 5 times, causing a high incidence of dry eyes. By blinking, people can protect tears from being evaporated, improve the stability of the tear film, and achieve the purpose of preventing dry eyes. As the first domestic care day activity for dry eye, Aier Ophthalmology encourages everyone to do 10 scientific and reasonable blinking exercises every day to better prevent dry eye.
